Well I must agree with some of the points stressed out by 7 though

1) Someone who actually watches anime should be the host

I definitely agree with this I really can’t stand it when someone who doesn’t know what she’s talking about tries to fit in with people who are obviously a little out of this world

2) Someone sexy

Yeah, sorry Ms Host! But you are a bit chubby, I do know some people find that appealing tho, but to each his own (I actually prefer mine to be slim and sexy)

3) Gay cosplay

Ah, we men definitely despise this kind. I usually feel nauseous whenever I see some tranny cosplaying a character that I actually like

I am abhorred with what I saw, and this again is another proof of the obviously dismal cosplay scene that is repeated time and time again at different conventions. I am tired of seeing the same characters cosplay’d again and again, to the point of boredom. Where’s the variety? Where’s the acclaimed individuality supporters of cosplays argue for if you see the same sets of characters over and over again? Aggravated by a failure of a host who doesn’t know what she’s talking about, background research honey, it’s called journalism.

Kudos to Kring’s coverage! Really loved how it was presented here – lots of wit! Since I wasn’t able to go around the venue during the three days of the Fest (no thanks to a trying internet connection and our semi – T_T attempt at webcasting the Con), I really appreciate the effort put into this!

Again, more power and I hope to see coverage like this for ToyCon 2009! Thanks again!
